What is Crypto Off-Ramp?

Markets don't wait, and neither should your ability to cash out crypto. Whether you're taking profits, rebalancing, or simply need cash, the speed at which you can convert crypto to cash matters.

How do you cash out crypto? That's where off-ramps come in. A crypto off-ramp is a service that converts digital assets like BTC, ETH, or USDT into fiat currencies such as GBP, EUR, or USD. While on-ramps invite you into the ecosystem, off-ramps are the bridge back out, allowing you to withdraw funds to traditional bank accounts and payment cards.

Through Mercuryo, users can now sell crypto for cash on BitMEX and receive fiat directly to their Visa or Mastercard — all without leaving the BitMEX platform.
