BitMEX is now live on Interchange, an off-venue settlement solution from Zodia Custody. This integration allows institutional and professional clients to access deep crypto derivatives liquidity while keeping their assets securely held in Zodia Custody.

This integration marks a milestone in further bridging the gap between institutional-grade security and crypto-native liquidity, providing our professional traders with the high performance execution and safety they need. Clients can get full access to the crypto derivatives markets – with up to 250x leverage – while reaping the benefits of cold, segregated custody. 

Bridging Crypto Derivatives with Institutional Grade Custody 

Through the partnership, institutional and professional traders can now trade directly on BitMEX without needing to pre-fund onto the exchange. 

Clients can now…

• Trade with secure asset custody: Trade crypto derivatives without needing to move assets onto BitMEX. 

• Full mirroring to BitMEX for trading: Collateral is held in the Zodia Trading Vault and mirrored to BitMEX, reducing counterparty exposure while maintaining trading capability. 

• Maintain custody through full trade lifecycle: Have funds fully remain in cold, segregated custody at every point of the trade until settlement.

• Access leverage and advanced derivatives trading: Once balances are mirrored, clients can access BitMEX’s full derivatives suite (including using leverage) and deploy complex strategies with no functional compromise.

• Secure Custody: 100% of collateral remains in the Zodia Trading Vault until settlement.
