Updates to BitMEX Indices and Quarterly Future Listings Q4 2020
On 11 September 2020 at 08:00:00 UTC BitMEX will list new quarterly futures. Please see our blog for listings and settlements for current and upcoming futures contracts for Q4 2020, including new quanto futures on ADA, EOS, LINK and XTZ (available in Testnet now).
The new contracts will be visible on the platform from 10 September 2020 at 08:00:00 UTC as Unlisted, 24 hours before the start of trading.
On 4 September 2020 at 01:00:00 UTC BitMEX listed the following new indices:
.BADAT, .BEOST, .BLINKT, .BUSDT, .BXTZT.
On 25 September 2020 at 12:00:05 UTC BitMEX will update its indices across all products. The affected indices will be:
.BXBT, .BETH, .BXRP, .BBCH. .BLTC, .BUSDT;
.BETHXBT, .BXRPXBT, .BBCHXBT, .BLTCXBT, .BEOSXBT, .BADAXBT, .BTRXXBT;
.BADAT, .BEOST, .BLINKT, .BXTZT.
Please note that the hypothetical values of the indices with new weights are published as the “NEXT” index family (Eg .BXBT_NEXT).

New Stop Order feature for API users: Last Within Mark LIVE Today, 28 August at 04:00:00 UTC
On 28 August at 04:00:00 UTC, we introduced a new Stop Order feature – Last Within Mark. Please see our blog post for more details.
The new feature has been introduced for our API users initially, and will be made available for all users on our trading web page at a later stage.

Introducing a New Stop Order Feature for API Users: Last Within Mark
We are launching a new order feature for our API users on 28 August at 04:00:00 UTC. Last Within Mark can be applied to Stop Market Orders and Stop Limit Orders. API users can test it now on Testnet.
The new feature has been introduced for our API users initially, and will be made available for all users on our trading web page at a later stage.
This additional feature expands the range of tools we provide for our users to help them build effective trading strategies. Please see our blog for more information.
Change to Updates on the Order Feed for New and Triggered Orders
Starting 24 August 2020 at 17:00 UTC, new orders submitted to the exchange will result in a single update being generated and published on the WebSocket API order feed containing the final state of that order. Previously an additional intermediate state with ordStatus=New and workingIndicator=0b was also published on the order feed. This change is now live in the Testnet environment.
