Clef is Shutting Down

Dear Trader,

On March 6, 2017, Clef announced the shutdown of their service. They will be joining another company and sunsetting the Clef product.

We regret to see this user-friendly option go.

Our records show that you are using Clef. Before June 6, 2017, you must transition to a new login method.

To do so:

  • Go to your Account Page and click “Disconnect Clef”.
    • This will perform an authorization with your current Clef session.
    • Upon authorization, Clef will be removed from your BitMEX account.
  • A confirmation email will be sent to you. Use it to reset your password.
  • Log in with your new password and set up a new Two-Factor type.
